Uncle Ernie's Bayfront Grill

The atmosphere is super nice. I was seated immediately and even had a nice view of the bay. It was a nice day too so that helped. I’m not a big seafood eater but I decided to go outside my comfort zone and ordered the grilled shrimp tacos. The Thai slaw on the bed of the soft taco was crisp and refreshing and the sweet chili sauce had a nice zip to it. More importantly the shrimp were cooked perfectly and had a unique flavor of their own. My only complaints would be the following. The flour tortillas could have used a light char from the grill. It’s more of an visual thing for me and has nothing to do with the wonderful flavors of the food. Just would have been visually appealing. And lastly the bar needs to pay better attention to their beer taps. I had a Shocktop which was a little off in flavor and a little light in color. Aside from that I had a lovely experience here and look forward to the next time I’m down this way so I can enjoy there cuisine again.

We looked this placed up on Google and it gave the correct directions but upon arriving we saw only a shell of the restaurant. The restaurant was damaged from Hurricane Michael and it is still being reconstructed. Someone needs to update the hours of business for this restuarant.

Great food, great atmosphere! Loved it. Our waitress was so sweet. Definitely will be back the next time we are here.
